Format Windows HDD With Command Line Using Diskpart

Start DISKPART via the command prompt with administrator rights

diskpart

Show disks

list disk

Select a disk

sel disk 0

Show partitions if necessary

list part

Clean the HDD, erasing data and partitions

clean

Create a new partition

create part primary

Format the drive

format fs=ntfs
